Our material certification
Trimco Group’s products are certified STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®, one of the world’s most acknowledged labels for textiles tested for harmful substances, and it stands for customer confidence in high product safety. Our customers may rest assured that the sustainable origin of the goods we manufacture has been tested for more than 300 different substances that are harmful to health and the environment. The articles we produce, carrying the STANDARD 100 mark, guarantee to consumers that every component of the article, has been tested and confirmed to be safe for humans.
FSC™ is the leading defining force for improved forest management and market transformation, shifting the global forest trend towards sustainable use, conservation, restoration, and respect for all. FSC promotes environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial, and economically viable management of the world’s forests. By joining FSC, Trimco pledges to protect forests through responsible forestry. Our FSC certified products indicate that the certified material has kept its integrity from forest to final product.
Sustainability is at the core of Trimco Group. By joining GRS, a product standard for tracking and verifying the content of recycled materials in a final product, Trimco Group strengthens its compliance status by applying the guidelines provided by GRS. The standard covers processing, manufacturing, packaging, labeling, trading and distribution of all products made with a minimum of 20% recycled material. With the goal to increase the use of recycled materials, the GRS certification aims to reduce the damaging impact production can have on people and the environment.
BLUESIGN® is an independent certi-fication that aims to ensure trust and transparency in the textile industry. BLUESIGN stands for high product safety in the global apparel industry. By joining BLUESIGN, Trimco guarantees that our products are compliant and manufactured following the BLUESIGN guidelines. Trimco shares BLUESIGN’s aim to find solutions for sustainable textile production by eliminating harmful substances at every level of the supply chain, using only chemicals, processes, materials, and products that are safe for the environment, workers, and consumers.
The Registration, Evaluation, Authorization, and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) Regulation has been in effect since 2007. Its aim is to restrict the use of hazardous substances in products made and sold in the EU. REACH compliance has the ambition to improve the protection of human health and the surroundings from the risks that chemicals can cause. Trimco Group steps in to streamline the process and guarantees its compliance with REACH directives. REACH is a legal requirement for EU.
Our social compliance
The Higg Index is a suite of tools for the standardized measurement of value chain sustainability, and it is central to the mission of The Sustainable Apparel Coalition (SAC) to transform businesses for exponential impact. The Higg Facility Environmental Module (Higg FEM) is a sustainability assessment tool that standardizes how manufacturers measure and evaluate their environmental performance. 11 Trimco’s in-house production facilities are HIGG FEM compliant.
An amfori BSCI audit looks to continuously improve the social performance of suppliers and enhance working standards. That is why amfori BSCI is a social compliance and is based on the labor standards of the International Labour Organization (ILO) and international regulations such as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. As an amfori BSCI certified member, Trimco Group constantly strives to improve its social performance across the global supply chain.

Cradle to Cradle Certified® is the global standard for safe, circular, and responsibly made products. Trimco Group can comply with the Cradle to Cradle standards on selected products, thus positively impacting people and the planet.
The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) defines worldwide recognized requirements for organic textiles. “From harvesting of the raw materials, environmentally and socially responsible manufacturing to labeling, textiles certified to GOTS provide a credible assurance to the consumer.” The GOTS mark is Trimco’s assurance to customers that selected products can comply with the GOTS standards.
